Your main instructors in the Special Education Program are Dr. Courtney Moffatt and Dr. Tom Holub.  Here is some background on each of them.

Courtney Moffatt, Ph.D.
Dr. Moffatt has been at Edgewood college since 1993.  Previous to her time at  Edgewood she taught at the University of Wisconsin's Oshkosh campus and Madison campus.  She earned her PhD. in Rehabilitation Psychology and Special Education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1990.  Her classroom teaching experience includes regular education, learning disabilities, emotional disturbance and cognitive disabilities in both rural and urban settings.  She is presently a tenured, Associate Professor at Edgewood College.


Tom Holub, Ph.D.
Dr. Tom Holub has played an active role in the disabilities field for nearly 30 years. Tom's major interests include special populations, skills and knowledge for self-determination, and educational reform.
